“The staff at Westchester Veterinary Hospital are great and our dog loved them. They were able to get us in quickly so we could get our newly adopted dog a check up and the meds she needed. We will be using them from now on.“

“This is such a great practice!! I volunteer with a cat rescue group and like going here so much that I use them for my personal cats too! The vets are very knowledgeable and caring. They are not looking to do a money grab like some of the local vets prescribing tests and medications that are not really needed. The techs are so good handling the cats....even the spicy & cranky ones!! They never get angry and are always soft spoken with the cats. They are also extremely compassionate when an owner has to euthanize one of their cats. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful and make sure they address all your needs either on the phone or when checking out on site. The fact it is a cat only facility is awesome and the icing on the cake. I would recommend Cat Care to any cat owner! Prices are reasonable.“

“The first week I had my pup he had to be hospitalized, I went into tears immediately, for what the cost would be and my new pup was sick, this amazing Vet, cured my pup, and with an overnight visit, my bill was less than $200. I will never go anywhere else, than to Dr. Tyler' Vet. And the staff is awesome.“

“This was our first visit to West Market, we had been looking for a new Vet for our pair of 2 y/o tabbies. We were so completely IMPRESSED with the entire experience. We saw Dr Listrani and Dr Evan’s, both were absolutely wonderful.

“My dog has never liked going to the vet, but since covid she has become a bit reactive with unfamiliar people. This of course only increases in stressful situations, like going to the vet. Finding vet care for her has been difficult and it has always been a highly stressful experience for both of us. We decided to try Friendly Animal Clinic this time around as her previous vet had changed ownership, and I'm so glad we did. While my dog was unable to be examined the first time I brought her in, the doctor used this as an opportunity to build rapport with her while we came up with a plan that would better suit her. I brought her back in following the protocol suggested by the doctor yesterday, and she was able to have a full examination done, and other than a couple brief moments, had no issues with reactivity. She was even wagging her tail, accepting treats from staff, and laying down at some points during her visit. The care and effort they put toward making my girl more comfortable did not go unnoticed and unappreciated. This will definitely be our home vet from now on!“

“(UPDATED) My mom and I have been taking our dogs here for years, Yoda (before she passed), Cash, and Nala. Never have I had an issue with this place. Aside from typical vet complaints (some longer wait times on busier days, vets are expensive, etc), they've always done their best to work with me regardless of any situation I've been in over the years. I love my dogs like they're my children, and you can tell they do too - but I don't always have $400 to spare on a single visit, so they usually work with me to make sure Cash is still taken care of - just over the course of a couple weeks instead of just one. In times like this, they should know how much that's appreciated, especially as a not-so-established semi-adult LOL.

UPDATE: Since about 2:00 this morning my Cash boy had been having an adverse reaction to a vaccine, and they spoke with me over the phone about what I could do to help them. In the anxiousness I forgot her name, but she also took the time to help me feel better about the situation as I was very clearly freaking out. The ultimate decision was to bring him in to be seen again. The vets and assistants (with all due respect, im not sure their official titles) were so quick to help him, and were so so nice to my precious boy. They gave him the medicine he needed, gave him lots of love, and sent us on our way with some home-instructions and medications. Thank you (once again), Southwoods for helping me take care of my baby❤️ Always recommend!!“

“My sweet baby is in heat and I thought she had passed A LOT of blood and clots on morning. I took her here because her normal vet was booked. I live 40mins away but this place has been recommended by a family friend. Anyway, her lab work and scans were all normal so the vet said it was just a really bad heat cycle.

Fast forward to 4 hours later at home, she poops black stool and vomits blood. So now I know what I saw in the morning was bloody vomit. I call ahead and race over there. After an exam, reviewing of earlier scans and bloodwork, we are told she has a stomach ulcer. All the symptoms track and a plan was enacted. She received fluids, antibiotic, antacid, and nausea medication while at the vet. We came home with 6 different medications to treat her and it’s been about 16 hours since she last vomited.

The staff here were all so kind and caring. I’ve been to another emergency vet where the staff was rude and took no interest in your fur baby. This place is so wonderful and I will definitely be contacting them with any future emergencies!“

“We took our 5 mnth old cat here after his neuter (because we are worried pet parents) after he ripped the glue off his tattoo and looked like he split his skin open and these nice people took a look at him, reassured us and offered more information! Grateful for these kind humans on the third shift staff!“
