The Red Awning Gallery is run as a program of WNCSociety of Artisans where artisans have the opportunity to learn the business of art by working and displaying their work. There are 13 displaying artisans presently who do work in a wide range of media. As one of the founding members I can tell you as entrepreneurs we are constantly learning and growing our craft and businesses together. I love the community and the staff at the HUB is outstanding. Wow! Our local artists are so very talented. And I love that The Red Awning Gallery is located inside an old school building...such history. I found a beautiful handmade necklace for my secret sister and I also snagged some handmade soap. Worth the visit!

The gallery has tons of promise with all the variations of creations from some of the best artists in our area! Gallery is totally dedicated to the craft and the idea that it needs to be seen and available to the public! A great new space and getting better all the time!
