454 Dillard Rd, Highlands“I had the most incredible experience at Zen Spa! From the moment I walked in, I could tell I was in the hands of a true expert. The owner's depth of knowledge in skincare is unlike anything I've encountered. Angel has studied all over the world from Japan to Italy to bring together the very best practices to create treatments that are completely tailored to each client. What amazed me most was how she immediately recognized exactly what my skin needed, as well as which areas of my body and organs could use attention. Her expertise in Chinese medicine and reflexology shined through in the most intuitive and personalized way. She only uses natural products, which not only felt nourishing but gave me peace of mind knowing everything was safe and beneficial for my skin. The entire space felt like a sanctuary--a place where I could fully relax, let go, and truly be cared for. Her intuition was spot on, from selecting the perfect products to focusing on the areas of my body that needed healing. It wasn't just a spa treatment; it was a holistic experience for both my skin and my spirit. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and deeply grateful. I can't recommend this spa highly enough--it's rare to find someone who combines such global knowledge, natural healing, and genuine intuition in their practice. I live in Charlotte but may be having to make a monthly trip to Highlands!! See you Soon! XXX“

233 Spring St, Highlands“Denise and Troy are the sweetest people. Troy is an amazing person and gives an incredible massage. He has a passion to make you feel better and an innate sense to feel where your muscles are tight. After 1 massage my limp was gone from my tight glutes and quads and I could easily run up and down steps. Highly recommend Gifted Hands!!“

16 Church St Box 2130, Highlands“My husband & I centered our honeymoon around the Spa (stayed in a spa suite at OEI & booked services for each day we were there.) Definitely the right decision for us— such a relaxing trip!! I called in September to book our week in March & the receptionist was helpful in recommending services for us & got everything set up for our trip! We each got a body scrub, facial, the signature Sweet Mountain Metamorphasis, & a couple’s massage. I had Sparkle for days 1 & 3, Nang for my facial, & Keisha for the couple’s massage & the services were all fantastic. I have had some lower back pain flare off and on for 2 years and despite not saying anything about it to Keisha, when she got to that area in the massage, she asked me if I had any pain because she could tell something was off, & was able to give me some more information about what muscles I should be stretching to help (solving my mystery back pain of 2 years thank you Keisha!! ??)! I appreciated getting to pick the fragrances for each treatment, & everyone was so sweet & celebratory of our honeymoon! ?
I wish I had brought a book to read in the lounge area because it was very cozy (I fell asleep in there on the first day). I took advantage of the “human car wash” shower & Steam Room (to other guests just to be aware, the steam room/sauna/whirlpool area is technically bathing suit optional but I was the only person not in a bathing suit. Mayhaps pack a bathing suit unless you are down to be alone in your nudity lol).
The cafe was lovely & had lots of great vegetarian options as well as tea & specialty coffee.
Overall, we had a fantastic & rejuvenating honeymoon! Thanks to all!“

“I came for a therapeutic massage because I could barely move my head to the left. I spent 45 minutes in the infrared sauna under the light therapy and then went in for a 90 minute massage.
By the time Liz finished, I could move my head to the left again. My hips are back in place and I can lay flat again!
I am very thankful.
??? Why did you do that?“
