Vasily is a man of few words…but…he most definitely knows what he is doing! The buckle on my Birkenstocks was broken and he did the repair while I waited on a Saturday afternoon. In less than 15 minutes, I was back in my car. I sincerely appreciate how efficiently Vasily repaired my shoe. Never judge a book by its cover. I will be back.
I’ve been coming here for handbag and shoe repairs for a while now, and the work is always excellent and done quickly. The owner is not a chatty guy, but he knows his craft and gets the job done right. Be prepared to pay upfront—seems like a lot of people don’t pick up their items, so I get why he does it this way. It’s a very old-school shop: you drop off your item, come back on the agreed-upon day, and it’s ready. If you’re polite and respectful, you’ll have a smooth experience. Highly recommend for quality repairs!
I agree with the other customers who have given this man five stars. I agree with the others who imply that he is non-conversational and brusque, but I wouldn't say rude, and I wouldn't have given him one star for rudeness if the shoe repairs were good. I actually liked him, but I could tell that he didn't want an ongoing friendship with me. chuckle. He did an absolutely wonderful job on the three pairs of shoes I brought in--one for soles and heels, one for full one-piece bottom, and one for heels only. If I need any more shoe repairs, I will definitely bring them to Vasyl. I was pleased. I will recommend P O Shoe Repair to others! Thank you Vasyl for your service.
