    If I could give negative stars I would. A few months ago, my mom, who is physically disabled due to having polio as a child, applied to get a new motorized wheelchair as her old one was over 10 years old and way past due to be replaced. We made an appointment for her to get fitted for the new wheelchair though Adapt Health. A portion of the new chair was to be covered by Medicare, through my mom was responsible for 20% and the additional cost of adding a lift feature to the existing wheelchair. Fine. We were told 4-6 weeks. It ended up taking a couple months because the Adapt Health person didn't submit it yet. After getting this sorted out we waited a bit longer for it to be ready. The set up an appointment with my mom to bring the chair to her at home and set it up for her. This is where things go further down hill. Before bringing the chair, it was to be paid in full. This was $5000 for the lift and $2500 for the chair itself after Medicare paid their part. I was present when my parents paid the entire amount and and scheduled delivery. 3 months later, they get a bill in the mail for an additional $1600. I questioned this because it was paid in full in order for them to deliver it. They told me to wait and make sure Medicare had paid in full. A month later, they received a call threatening to send the bill to collections if it wasn't paid immediately. Again, it was paid in full before it was delivered. I called before my parents sent any money and asked what the issue was. I was told "the new model was more expensive than they thought". To avoid collections, my parents reluctantly paid the additional amount. My parents are on a fixed income and have been taken advantage of. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the company refused to respond. This is beyond poor business practices and they should give my parents that money back. I have all the paperwork and receipts for everything. This business is crooked and taking advantage of people. I've never experienced such unethical business conduct.

    we Have an older sleep apnea machine. They no longer sell parts for it so we have to buy on amazon and because we are "not current customers " they made us wait for help getting a print out required by law to get a dot physicAl. After waiting an hour they told us they were "too busy" to help and come back in a couple of days when they had more help. (Printing the form is at no charge) So I guess this customer, who waited an hour, wasn't as important as the othe TWO that were waiting 10 minutes behind me!!! The service has really gone downhill since they were bought out by Adept! We had been customers for over 15 years! Shame shame shame to treat older customers that way!

    As a health care provider I get that COVID negatively impacted everyone. The lack of attention to customer needs as basic as oxygen is unacceptable. My mother was ordered home oxygen and it took three calls to get it delivered. The technician was more concerned with my husband fish tank. The tank filler never worked properly so she could not go outside her room. I made 2 calls to get help with the filler and calls were never returned. I called Lincare and within 2 hours a portable oxygen tank and concentrator was delivered. It again took 2 calls to get the equipment picked up. I'm so embarrassed that I had recommended this company for years . Please find another company. If oxygen is needed Lincare is wonderful
