“I interacted with Debbie and she was great to work with! We had a nice conversation while she was pinning my dress to get altered. She told me a little bit about her background and she is extremely skilled at what she does. She started sewing when she was 5! I even hesitantly asked if she could get my 2 dresses turned around in a week and she said she would work over the weekend to fit these in for me despite the FULL bridal party she had to have completed over the weekend as well.

Debbie is old school, but I truly enjoyed the simplicity and realness of how she runs and handles her business. She’s not rude like some of the other reviews said. Straightforward maybe but I personally think that’s refreshing nowadays. If you are kind and get to know the person servicing you, you just might be able to understand and better appreciate who they are. P.S her landline phone is a bit messed up so it may be easier to pop in in-person to ask your questions etc. especially if you’re already in the downtown area.“

Bonus: Jones gave me an incredible tour of the business, from the mega sewing machine with the giant arm to the button machine to the machine shop where they fabricate parts for sewing machine. Super folks that take the time to do the job right at a fair price. Jones and Bill's Sewing Machine Co saved my sewing machine. I have an old White sewing machine that I use for sewing covered wagon covers, fixing pants and general repairs. It stopped working (trying to sew too heavy material) and I brought it to Bill's. Even though they're geared to commercial machines, the took it and fixed it. Now it works perfectlyHighly, highly recommended!
