I came in with torn and bleeding cuticles and a very bad eczema flare-up on my arm. I was so embarrassed by how my nails and skin looked and was very anxious to make an appointment. I had heard that getting acrylic nails helps prevent excessive damage from scratching during a flare-up because it thickens and smooths the edge of the nail, so i wanted to try it.
My nail tech Mau was incredibly sweet and did an amazing job on my nails. She made me feel understood and helped me relax and enjoy the process and helped clean up my torn cuticles so they can heal better. I’ve been trying out different nail salons in Hickory and I think I found the one. Without saying anything, Lisa knew that I didn’t have an ingrown nail, but rather it was the skin around the nail that grows and harden causing toe pain. She took care of that with ease, and her nail shaping and polish job were also excellent. I will definitely be back.
Nail Studio is THE BEST nail salon in the area! I drive an hour once every three weeks because there is nobody I trust and love more than Millie and the rest of the nail techs here. They know you by name, they make appointments and are always on time to serve you. These girls are the bomb!
