You won't find anyone who is nicer and more relaxed than Joe. He's a friendly and charismatic fellow and he knows what he's doing. Even when I think I'm prepared, Joe looks out for us and even if I'm feeling anxious about it, he's created a warm and welcoming environment.
His rate for preparing a return is very fair for the quality of work he delivers, and using a local and independent CPA keeps money in and better supports the local community. Highly highly recommended!
I walked into the office a disheveled mess, brain completely fried and heart rate at the point my watch was giving me constant warnings. I left feeling like I just got out of the spa, calm and relaxed. This was my first experience with a CPA in North Carolina and I had bare minimum expectations going in, which were so far exceeded that writing a Google review seems like that bare minimum I can do. I found Joe through a local Facebook group and I couldn't of been more lucky if I hit the Powerball. I've suggested and recommended a lot of places both in private to friends and publicly on Google Reviews, but this is by far my strongest, most endorsed review I've ever written.
After my previous CPA passed away, I was under growing pressure to find a new accountant. I waited until the worst time to look for a new accountant: tax season. Fortunately, I came across this listing. Joe understood my situation and took care of a messy situation faster than I could have imagined. He understood my structure, numbers, and even tipped me off on some new tax laws I wasn't aware of. Switching to Haney CPA might be the best business decision I've made this year.
