Designing Women Inc

We traveled to North Carolina from our home in NY. We spent 2 days with Kirsten Hart White and placed a large order for furniture and accessories for our new home. We were extremely disappointed with the design services we were given along with the customer service provided after many issues associated with the delivery. Kirsten Hart White left the company approximately 2 months after we placed our order. We tried numerous times to contact the owner of Designing Women, Sally Bentley, but she would not return phone calls, e mails or text messages. Her operations manager helped us to the best of her ability. Do Not waste money on “professional” design service fees. This company proved to be unprofessional and disreputable. This company is not about customer service. I would be happy to share the entire experience if you are trying to decide to go forward with services from Sally Bentley of Designing Women or Kirsten Hart White of Hart White Interiors.

California has a crazy real estate market, meaning we bought and closed on our house within weeks of having seen it for the first time! We loved our new house, but none of our furniture was going to work in it and our move day was fast approaching. We called Sally Bentley of Designing Women, Inc. in North Carolina and told her about our predicament. She immediately started sending pictures of furniture pieces that were perfect for our new house and our personal taste - like she'd known us all our lives! Then she flew out here and met the truck when it arrived with all our new furniture. She managed the installation beautifully, then shopped with us all over the San Francisco Bay Area coaching us on which stores have the best accessories for our type of home and furnishings. We were so impressed with not only her creativity and design expertise, but also how she made it fun and exciting (and not scary) for us. Then when we needed that 'one last thing' that we couldn't find here, she had it overnighted to us from back east so it would arrive while she was still here to help us install it. Hiring Sally was the best decision we could have made, saving us both time and money. We absolutely love the home she created for us! I would recommend Sally without reservation for any style of home anywhere in the world.

Just purchased a house in the mountains and knew we wanted to go to Hickory Furniture Mart to shop for furniture. The store has over 26 acres of showroom space and I knew it would be overwhelming to do this alone. So I contacted Sally and asked them to help us design the interior of our home. What a joy it was to spend the day with Sally and Kirsten and picking out furniture and fabrics for our home. Worth every penny. We designed our entire home in one day and the experience with Designing Women is very laid back and easy going. They find your style, likes, & dislikes, and then guide you accordingly in order to stay focused and only visit the stores that cater to your tastes. You will not be disappointed in their services. Can't wait to see all that we picked out in our home. Thank you guys again.
