In a word, DDI is amazing. Excellent workmanship. Responsive to questions and concerns. Easy to talk to and reach on the phone. Accurate with cost estimates and timelines. Willing to do extra things within reason as situations arose. We highly recommend them with confidence.
In 2021 we chose DDI for our dream home build after meeting with several contractors. They were prompt and very positive when we met. This was huge as it was during the COVID supply/inflation issues. Several contractors we had met with were hesitant during this time. Dustin's attitude was a breath of fresh air.

Our dream home was a barndominium and we are grateful that DDI of Hickory was able and willing to make that happen! We created our own plans, which were brought to life by an architect and engineered plans were created by the barndominium subcontractor. All in all, it was a seamless process from our first meeting through loan approval. During the build, we had Melissa as our site lead and she was at the site several times per week checking on things and making sure all went well. We were very pleased with the subcontractor hired to complete the shell and the concrete pour for our home, as well as most other subcontractors throughout the process.
