DC Wellness INC is a professional mental and behavioral health agency providing integrated treatment approaches to improve the quality of life for individuals with mental health issues. The agency has a team of exceptional therapists, including Michael Thomas and Brutus, who have received high praise from clients. They have helped families grow and achieve positive outcomes, teaching effective communication and goal-setting skills. However, as of April 5, 2024, the agency is not currently accepting new patients due to a 6-month waitlist. Despite this, existing clients highly recommend the clinic and its therapists for their exceptional care and support.
Michael Thomas and Brutus are an AMAZING therapeutic team! They've become one of the best counseling resources, my family and I have been blessed to meet. Brutus, the therapy dog, has even helped, unexpectedly, support the grieving journey, I've been travelling through, since our family therapy dog passed, last Fall of 2022.
I recommend this mental health clinic to everyone. My experience with Damaris Cortés and Michael Thomas has been exceptional. DC Wellness has helped my family see the positive in life. We have grown incredibly as a family. As a mother, I have learned to understand and communicate well with my children. We have incredible goals in the near future. Soon we will have our house. In November of last year my son began his therapies at DC WELLNESS, his situation was critical with a long road ahead, the attention he received really made my son a person with a desire to live, with short and long term goals, but with a very valuable meaning for him, the therapies he receives are not only from a professional point of view, but they show him a true interest as a human being and love, they have helped him discover the great human being that he is, that being human who was trapped from childhood to adulthood, I am very grateful to Damariz Cortes for all the help she has given to my son and to me as well.
