Dr. Shauna Guthrie at Sunflower Direct Primary Care PLLC is an excellent doctor whose method of medical practice is restoring that personal touch that has been lost in so much of modern medicine. She insists on spending time with patients and getting to know them before treatment, and she is always very attentive to every need. My family and I highly recommend her and her practice.
As someone with years of sheer fear and trauma from medical care and judgement, finding Dr. Shauna has been such a gift. She’s patient and kind, she’s wise and thoughtful, and she’s a listener. I am so grateful, and would recommend this practice to anyone seeking care.
Dr Guthrie is dependable and available. She never makes me feel like a burden even when I’ve needed her “after hours”. She has a way of explaining medical diagnoses in a really simple and direct way so it makes it easy to understand. She’s knowledgeable but also really approachable so I never feel like any of my questions are dumb or unwarranted. Last, she values my opinions and really listens. Dr Guthrie is a phenomenal doctor and Henderson is lucky to have her.
