While I don't have a robust knowledge of the facility, I do like the layout of the lobby. The adjacent facilities could use a bit more polish in regards to accessibility.
On 4 27 2024 I had a massive heart attack and took the life flight from Mary Param to Duke. Chris Aaron along with the rest of the group at the Cardiac Rehab help me get my act back together. I was so impressed with my success with their assistance that I go three days a week now Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8. They played a major part of me getting my life back together
My father was treated in the Maria Parham Health Emergency Department last Friday, and we could not have been more pleased with the care he received. From the moment we arrived, the process was efficient and seamless. He spent less than five minutes in the waiting room before being triaged and receiving treatment.
The staff moved quickly to obtain labs and imaging, and the results came back promptly. Every nurse we encountered was attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The excellent care continued after he was admitted to a spacious room on the Medical Unit, where the staff remained responsive and compassionate throughout his stay.
