Tori is the WORST excuse of a hairdresser I have ever come across. She actually denied seeing me after I called to reschedule a appointment I had with her the next day. I gave her a 24 hour notice and she turned me away. DISPICABLE. You are a hairdresser, not the president. I am so disgusted with her attitude and I am taking my business elsewhere!

Hated it. Nobody knew how to cut my wife's hair. I wanted it short and they left it long. She had highlights done and they came out all striped! She is very upset.

Most unwelcoming... I called ahead to make an appointment over the phone, knowing studio 109 would be near the location of my large event that I wanted to get my hair cut and styled. I was setting up Downtown Lansing on the day of the event and realized my appointment was coming up soon so I rushed to the salon. Running less the 5 minutes late I walk in the doors to see two lonely ladies employees sitting down. The first lady sitting behind a desk looks at her book and then looks back at me, so i tell them I made an appointment ahead of time. One of the ladies responds No, you're too late, we have other appointments. Looking around again I see on clients in the salon I ask if I can just get a quick trim for my event later tonight? They refused and tell me they are too busy and I was too late to make the appointment. Will not plan to go back to studio 109 even if it events that are happening nearby. It's well worth going to a salon that makes you feel good not one that looks for a reason to refuse clients.

I love this place. Every hair stylist is amazing and talented, and Emy is great with nails- no other place can even compare to her nail art skill!

So disappointed with this place. First I got a horrible eyebrow waxing wich caused folliculitus, an infection of the hair follicule that I had to have medically treated. When they waxed my eyebrow, they removed half of my eyebrow and didn't say anything. Then when I wrote my negative review they had it removed!! Horrible customer service. In a small community like Lansing that's not a good way to conduct your business.

I was a little weary at first when I walked in. It was clean but a little bare bones. However, my stylist Sunshine made up for all that lacked. I can be a bit of a pain when your cutting my hair as I have to sisters that are cosmetologist and expect perfection but, she did awesome. Sunshine listened to everything that I wanted and did exactly that. When she was done she asked if I liked it or wanted anything different and I felt as though I could tell her anything and she wouldn't have minded. The price was just right. I had two highlights and cut for $80! I will go back to her.
