Kryptonic Comics & Collectibles, located in Grover, North Carolina, with a booth (#46) inside Gaston Pickers in Gastonia, NC, offers a great selection of modern and vintage collectibles. The store features a good mix of vintage and newer items, including old 90's & 80's toys and comics, antiques, Hot Wheels, Masters of the Universe, Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe, video games, and sports and Pokémon cards. Prices are super reasonable, and everything is displayed very well. The owner provides excellent customer service, is friendly and attentive, and is fully honest—even advising when a customer could make more selling elsewhere. This honest and selfless approach, combined with great conversation, makes the store a highly recommended destination for anyone interested in comics and collectibles. Definitely worth the drive from Charlotte.
Ya know... Sometimes you happen upon a small little thrift store in the middle of nowhere... That just happens to house a ton of comics. Brandon and his family were so awesome and welcoming. My wife and i immediately fell in love with this place. It might be over an hour from my house, but I'm coming back with a bigger wallet. In recent memory, I've had not had this great of a customer experience.
Really cool, place only is about 20 min from us and had no clue it was there. Lots of old 90's & 80's toys and comics, plus all kinds of antiques.
Stopped by the Grover location today to check them out with my dad and we were both thoroughly impressed. We’ve purchased from Brandon and Charlie’s antique shop booths before and we’re glad to see they’ve got their own place to work with now. Everything was displayed very well and they had a good mix of vintage and newer collectibles to check out. Comics, Hot Wheels, Masters of the Universe, Ninja Turtles, G.I. Joe, Video games, even sports and Pokémon cards. Definitely worth the drive from Charlotte. We will be back for sure!
