I’ve been on my own a few times, always great service. Brought my 4 year old daughter, she was a little nervous but they were great getting her to warm up to them and provided amazing service! Highly recommend

Yen was WONDERFUL, and hands down the best technician that I’ve ever spent an hour with and enjoyed getting my nails done and they are PERFECT—-exactly what I wanted.

My wife and I tried POSH for the first time on Thursday of this week. I’ll tell you why we won’t return. My wife and I have been getting our nails done together every two weeks at another salon for years. Our regular nail professional and our next choice professional are both out of town for a month, so we decided to try POSH since we were going to have to use someone else anyway. I arrived with nails having a nice sheen from my previous manicure 2 weeks earlier. Amy placed my right hand in a shallow bowl of water (I assume that’s what it was) and proceeded to clip the nails on my left hand with toe nail clippers. I’m OK with that until she “got me”. She put down the toe nail clippers and continued to clip my nails with cuticle scissors. I’ve known you don’t clip nails with cuticle scissors since I was a boy. My Mom stopped me from using hers to cut something before I messed them up. Amy then clipped the nails of my right hand with the cuticle scissors while my left hand was in the bowl of water. After trimming my nails, she used a rough orange sponge to completely dull my nails as she “sanded away” the jagged edges. Amy then tried trimming my cuticles with the cuticle scissors. As you can imagine, dull cuticle scissors, because they were used for nail clipping, pull the cuticle away rather than cut the cuticle away. She also did not use a “cuticle pusher” to push the cuticle up to the base before using the scissors, so that was left on my nails. After quietly suffering through the cuticle trimming process, Amy used the instrument usually used to clean the underside of the nail to scrape along the edges and the cuticles. Why? I don’t know. But she must have been taking out her frustrations on me that afternoon. After all this, she poured something on my nails that burned like a SOB. It didn’t smell like alcohol, so I assumed it was something like Witch Hazel. After a pitiful hand and forearm massage, she finished…and I was happy that she was. There’s no way I was going to say she shouldn’t be finished. I finished my nails at home having a number of those little sanding sponges (with very very fine grit on one side and very very very fine grit on the other) by buffing them to a nice shine. This is the same shine I leave with every two weeks from the other salon we attend. My wife had her gel nails re-done by Lynne. She was not very pleased either, coming away with gel nails that were bumpy in texture, as if air bubbles were in the polish, and the polish on her nails not applied evenly. After we left, I immediately drove to our regular nail salon and scheduled our next biweekly appointment to have our nails done by those we know, love and trust. We’ve learned they are worth the wait. I will no longer complain about having to wait a while even though I had an appointment at a certain time. btw…I wrote this same review on the POSH website, giving two stars for no wait time for appointment and promptness of Amy and Lynn coming to work on our nails, but I did not see it today. H-m-m-m-m-m.

Our regular nail person at another salon is away for a month and so is the person that we prefer if she is not available, so my wife and I tried POSH for the first time. I arrived with shiny nails having been buffed with very fine sanding sponges. I left with the most dulled nails ever, cuticles not pushed back and fingers sore. Why? Read on. Amy began cutting my nails with toenail clippers before changing to cuticle scissors to finish the cutting after “getting me” with the clippers. She then “sanded” my nails with the rough orange sanding sponge along the edge and the top of my nails. She used the cuticle scissors to clip away at the ridges around the tips of my finger nails and at the base of my nails. Needless to say, the cuticle scissors had been dulled by their being used to clip nails, so the little pieces of cuticle were not cut away from my nails, but pulled away from my nails. Hell…as a young boy, I learned from my Mom that those little tiny scissors are not for cutting anything except cuticles. I winced several times because of Amy’s roughness. She “scraped” the outside of my nails and along the base with the instrument usually used to clean underneath the front of your nails and followed this with a “bath” of something like Witch Hazel. It wasn’t alcohol because I didn’t smell that odor, but it burned like a SOB. Were my nails then buffed with the little “sanding” sponges to return the shine to them? Nope. Disappointed? Very. But mostly disappointed that I even decided to try someone else other than my favorite salon. My wife was there at the same time for gel nails re-polish. She came away disappointed because her nails were not smooth. They had a bumpy and uneven finish with the excess still on the sides. She had a different person work on her nails. Needless to say, after we left, we went straight to Henry’s Nails and made our next 2-week appointment with nail salon experts we know and love and trust. Two stars ONLY for promptness of the staff and little wait time. We found the salon TV loud and the seats uncomfortable to move in and out of the vanity.

EDITING: The male owner of this salon confronted me about my review of this salon as I was leaving. His behavior was rude and threatening. He asked that I make my review a 1 star rather than 3 star as previously posted. I want to like this salon because of the convenient location and esthetic. But this is my second time here and I've been less than impressed twice. They will not paint my 4 year old daughters nails with regular polish because they say they don't have time to "fix them" if she messes them up. They are staffed with a very limited number of people, can't accommodate walk ins and even with a scheduled appointment, both times I have had to wait 15 min past appointment time.

I am SO glad I found this place!!! I’ve only been twice, but both times have been above and beyond expectations. They do a great job on my nails and have some of the best customer service I have ever seen. I recommend them to everyone I know!

Cleanliness: Extremely clean and great atmosphere.

Trinity and Anthony are the owners of this business. I have been with them since they opened and was a customer of Trinity’s before her & Anthony opening their shop.
They are a by APPOINTMENT ONLY Nail Salon. If they are not booked and have time they will service a few WALK INS. If you are truly a customer of theirs then you would know this and should not walk in expecting them to service you on a Whim!
You thinking that my time as having made an appointment is not worth more than yours is an insult. Them serving a WALK IN when they have people on the books will put them and us ( appointment customers) behind and is not fair to us. That is one reason I love this place because it isn’t about quantity but QUALITY. They take their time and their work is BEAUTIFUL!
