Dr. Kannan is an outstanding neurosurgeon and his staff is amazing. I have had neurosurgeons in Roanoke va, norfolk va, and now Greenville nc due to multiple spinal problems. He is definitely the best.

Dr. Kanaan has been my neurosurgeon for 4 years since my first seizure. He has made my journey through my procedure and treatment a smooth ride and I’m always confident that he wants the best for me. This physician deserves more than five stars! Not only is he highly skilled in his field of neurosurgery, he is one of the nicest, most humble people you will ever meet...most physicians of his caliber are not like this.
I was in a horrific car accident and thankfully, when I was transported to the trauma unit at Vidant, this surgeon was assigned to me. I am in the medical field and I can tell you this doctor did an amazing job putting me back together. I suffered an L1 burst fracture and had to have a spinal fusion and laminectomy.
