Buckhout Tree Service is by far the most fairly priced, professional, and reliable tree service you're going to find in Greenville. Leigh has always been straightforward, prompt, and informative in my exchanges with him and his company. He does exactly what he says he's going to do and takes the time to explain why and how he's going to approach it. Seldom do you find those qualities these days. I highly recommend Buckhout Tree Service! He was thorough with his quote (including many options if considering more trees), answered all questions, and educated me about the process. He removed three trees, including a 120+ foot pine that was affected by pine beetles. Everything was done well, and I was most impressed by the attention to detail!

Had a 80+ foot sick silver maple very close to a barn that had to be removed before it fell. Tree was very compromised. This was not a tree that you could just cut down. It needed a plan…..a safe plan. Leigh came out and evaluated the job and explained every detail of what could and would happen. The tree was removed exactly as planned. They were very respectful of my property and the neighbors. Made sure the equipment left no trace. Cleaned up everything. This is no jackleg tree company. Professional equipment in excellent condition and professional employees. Trust me when I tell you…..give him a chance….you will not regret it!

Mr. Buckhout arrived on schedule and promptly began work. After getting home from work, I checked the area in my backyard where the work had taken place. I could not find one sign of Where he had worked in the backyard. Even though he had a piece of heavy equipment to complete the job, there was not one rut or damaged area of grass. If you are looking for a tree service, that is prompt, fair, and meticulous, Lee Buckhout is your man. He did an amazing job.

I had two very large and deep rootballs/trunks of Crape Myrtle’s that had previously been ground down but continued to re-sprout. These things were the largest eye sore in my front yard and I had tried everything to kill them. I actually flagged down Leigh while he was working on a job for my neighbor and asked is he could work on my stumps too. He did it the same day and was super helpful with suggestions for future sprout management. Very reasonable with pricing especially in light of how big these things were. I will 100% call him again for future projects.
