As an Endo survivor, we are no stranger to uneducated or under-educated providers. The awful sinking feeling when within 5 mins you know you know more than the Dr. about your chronic illness. This is why I chose to travel from St. Louis to Greensboro to see Dr. Garner. She is truly an Endo specialist in her field. She understands the disease as well as related comorbidities (I have EDS) and what it does to your body and where the complications may lie after so many surgeries. Whether you need PT, solid supplement advice, a diet overhaul or just an ear listen, I would highly recommend Dr. Garner.

Dr. Garner has been great to work with. She really listens to what the patient says. The ultrasound imaging really helps us confirm what I am feeling. She does a great job looking at the whole body vs. just the area that is hurting which is really important. I have learned a lot about how my muscles are not working well together and how to slowly work to fix this issue. This is due to Dr. Garner literally showing me how certain muscles are inhibited when I try to activate them. I am really glad that I am slowly recovering and hopefully avoiding an unnecessary surgery!
