Fins Car Wash is a great spot for car lovers looking for quality vehicle care. The automated wash does an excellent job, even on SUVs with heavy grime and salt residue. Customers appreciate the convenience of the floor mat cleaning station and the availability of clean towels, making it easy to achieve a spotless car. Though the service is mostly automated, the staff is always helpful when needed. Many find the prices to be a good value, offering quick washes, vacuuming, and window cleaning supplies at reasonable rates. However, some customers question the effectiveness of the more expensive wash options, as they notice little difference in the final results. Overall, Fins Car Wash provides a fast, fun, and fantastic experience for anyone looking to keep their vehicle clean.
On 11/24/2025, the staff here were professional and courteous, and the process was quick and easy. Unfortunately, the quality didn’t match the $24 price tag. The wash included “tire shine,” but the results were noticeably uneven and spotchy, as shown in the photo. A decent wash overall, just not the level of finish I expected for the premium package.
This place is hands down the best car wash in Greensboro! I’ve been coming here since they were named as Fins too! Out of all the whistle car washes, this one has the friendliest people, and overall is a better experience. Tyler is a cool dude and even talked to me about Star Wars, he’s awesome and will chit chat with you which is (in my experience) what makes a place have great customer service.
Besides the service, this place has great pricing. They usually have some kind of deal going on and the subscription is really the best bang for your buck. This place never disappoints. Thank you Whistle!
I love coming to Whistle Stop! I am and Diamond Plus member and have been for a couple of years (ever since it was Fins). The wash is thorough and quick. The staff is courteous and always willing to help. Tyler is AMAZING! Always greeted by a smile! Keep up the great work!!!
