Shopped here at the Goldsboro store for the first time on October 6, 2020. The store was very clean, well-lit and had some good sales. I picked up some bath towels and mats for my new house, but didn't have as much time to look around as I would have liked because the store was closing at 8 pm! I've worked for JC Penney in two different states, shop the chain regularly across the country, and this is the first Penney's I've ever seen that closed at 8 pm on a weekday!! Every other store closed at 9 (and some in Texas stay open until midnight during the Christmas shopping season! It was quite disappointing. Tae did my hair and she did a great job I absolutely love it I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for 8 weeks from now to get her to do it again which is a big deal for me when normally I would never commit to getting my hair done by someone so soon again after I normally just have whoever cut my hair and go with it but I think I definitely found my hairdresser for as long as she is still working in Goldsboro ??‍♀️??‍♀️
