Best vet I've ever had. My 10 year old dog, Ziggy, had a bacterial infection on his leg for 5 months. He saw 3 other vets and was given tons of antibiotics and other meds to treat it (of course with side effects). I spent thousands on this issue with the other vets. In exasperation I drove from Asheville to Hendersonville to Dr. Howland. Dr. Howland asked if he could look at the bacteria under the microscope so we could treat the exact kind (what??why didn't the others do that?). He gave Ziggy a cream to treat it and it was gone in 2 weeks. The bill was $170. These people were great. I lost a dog I love beyond belief to non dog lovers. Ellie Mae traveled all over the United States with me. Ellie loved the ocean and mountains with rivers to fetch stick all the same. Ellie was my therapy dog and touched many people in her life. She was so incredible and smart, I miss her so much. White oak helped me through one of the toughest weeks in my life.
