We bought a house and moved to Laurel Park, NC in 2019. Our new house had not been updated for 25 years and was in desperate need of a remodel. We had a general idea and direction for our design; however we needed an independent design perspective, technical advice and experience for our project. The Design Gallery team provided all this and more. They listened to our ideas, suggested alternate concepts and we worked together to develop a beautiful design that we could not have envisioned on our own. We interviewed and ultimately selected a general contractor recommended by the design team. We could not have asked for a better advocate to have on our side during the whole house construction project. The Design Gallery team personally reviewed the progress onsite at key milestones to ensure our vision stayed on track. We are now living in our newly remodeled home and couldn’t be happier. I met Dawn when I took a class at Blue Ridge Community College.....she was my instructor. When I bought a bigger house that needed updating, I sought her out. Thank God I did....I was in over my head. She went above and beyond to help me pull it all together. She listens, she understands my quirky taste and helps me balance it with comfort and elegance. This was no small job, walls were removed and rooms were added.........Dawn and Betsy were able to design and draw the plans so that I could move forward with confidence. Dawn is accessible, she responds to calls, texts and emails quickly. What can I say? Sometimes you just get lucky......I did!
