Manewaves isn't my typical favorite type of salon - they don't serve wine as you wait or offer various spa services. However, they do exude an irresistible sort of southern charm - kind of like Truvey's from Steel Magnolias. I never would've found this place if I hadn't been desperate to secure an appointment with Ramsey (who was my stylist for YEARS before I moved to Wilmington). I've never been so distraught about leaving behind a stylist before. I bounced from salon to salon in Wilmington before finding someone who was suitable, but it still wasn't the same.
