Following my husband’s death in May of last year, I spoke with three funeral directors in Fayetteville. In just one phone call, Trey Herring of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home showed a significantly higher standard of care and professionalism than any other. That standard would continue until my husband’s burial could be cleared, due to Covid, in a National Cemetery. Then suddenly this past month, when my mother unexpectedly passed, I had to call on Trey again. Just as with my husband’s visitation and graveside service, Trey and the staff at Jernigan-Warren proved to be such a comfort, proving a beautiful final tribute to my mother. I think of them as family because they went above and beyond their responsibility to me as a client. Kindness and attention to detail is a given with these wonderful folks. Debbie DeCarlo, who did my mother’s hair and makeup, went above and beyond what I would have expected. After many years of illness, my mother would have been so proud to know how beautiful she would be once again.
