I dont have a primary doctor for myselfyet since moving here, but I for sure have a vet! I was only going for an update on one shot, and since he was coming up on his yearly visit they asked if I wanted to just get it all done. The staff are all super friendly and helpful, Dr Cordova was amazing wth my boy Waylon also. The whole building is clean and well kept up. There is a nice large waiting area so the pets aren't crowded in with each other, and the exam rooms are nicely done. Its nice to not have to worry about getting the best care for your tiny sidekick. They have a patient portal where you can add all your pets info and get updates on when they are due for things. I had his nails trimmed and they did the best I have experienced in his whole little life. Really pleased, wagging tail approval from Waylon as well!

I’ve been breeding dogs for six years now in Washington. We just moved back to NC and have been looking for a veterinarian. I brought our litter of puppies in for their first veterinary visit. Amazing job done! I have to say the best wellness exam I’ve seen done on any of my previous litters. They were handled with love and experience. I’m so pleased to have found our new vet!

Firstly, the women at the front desk were very kind and patient, so great from the jump! Secondly, the tech that helped us with everything was patient and understanding as well. We came in with three med/large sized dogs, and two of them aren’t fond of other dogs. I always come prepared, but they made it easier for us as well. They placed us in a room big enough for all three, and gave us spacing from the other dogs when passing with them. They weren’t judgmental of my dogs or their muzzles at all! When Dr. O’Neal came in I already had a good feeling. She interacted so wonderfully with my dogs and they were actually very calm with her all things considered! Even our dog who doesn’t really care for people (he doesn’t dislike or bite them, he just keeps to himself haha) sat up against her asking for pets. Her exams were wonderfully thorough, and it’s abundantly clear that she actually cares about the animals she sees. Everyone there was beautiful inside and out and I’m so excited to have them as our forever vet. Thank you all for a wonderful experience for both us and the pups! ♥️ We couldn’t be happier with how things went. Not to mention the pricing is not outrageous either! It’s great for the area!

Been going here forever years. Dr. Williams is the only one that I trust with my Kaiya. She has always been a little difficult at the vets but she has never had an issue while being assessed or treated by Dr. Williams. Multiple surgeries done as well, all went perfectly well!

Dr O'Neal was fantastic in coming up with a long term care plan for a badly injured stray I brought in. Very compassionate and you can tell she loves her practice.

My husband just came home from our first experience at Dogwood Animal Hospital. He had nothing but positive comments. The staff was polite, on time, and they were very good with our pet. We have a follow up appointment in 3 weeks and for the first time I'm not dreading it! Thank you very much Dogwood Animal hospital, Dr. Williams and team!

The Doctor J. Williams at this place is the most disrespectful person I have ever met at any vet office. I have gone here for 20 years and the experience I had yesterday made me go gather all my dogs vet records and change vets. I will never go there again due to this man. While I was on hold he must have thought that I couldn't hear him and he and a women continued on talking about me in a negative way. I have never met or talked to this man other than the conversation that we had on the phone. Very upsetting when you have a dog that you intrust with others to provide the best care that you can get. I recommend that if anyone has this doctor to change immediately or if you are thinking about going do not use this doctor.

Bunch of crooks. We have been boarding with them for years, until now. We were quoted one price for boarding and when we came to pick up our dogs and pay it was $200 more. They would not let us have our dogs until we paid them, they made my wife cry by strong-arming her to pay. They gave our dogs shots that they did not need(just had). They charged for exams that were not needed. They even lost one of our dogs collars that had all of her information(microchip, rabies, address Info) and didn't even reimburse us for it. They will never get my buisness again.

I rescued my dog back in 2017 and have been going to Dogwood ever since I got him. We've adopted 2 more since, one in 2018 and another this year, 2021. Whenever we go out of town, we board our dogs here for the convenience of the office knowing them and being able to address their needs as they arise. First time here. Last time here. Customer service is horrible. Why wait an hour to check in one pet. No one is here. There were two other cars picking up. That's it. I called ahead and told them all i needed done down to dates and a bath upon arrival. I get here and they ask the same questions. Down to the dates. Ridiculous. Almost 45 min.
