I would not take your animals here.
They are very rude, uncaring and don’t care about animals, they just care about making money!

My dog Apollo had been very sick for weeks and after 3 visits to our vet we kept getting no answers and no help so we came here. It was such a breath of relief compared to what we had been dealing with. Dr Leon took the time to listen to what had happened to my dog, what were his symptoms, what had the other vet tried to do to treat him, and then he went through what he thought the best course of action would be. He told us from the beginning he suspected it may be cancer and to be wary, but that he would still continue to try everything he could incase that it was something else. We had no trouble getting seen and weren’t being charged $120 emergency fee everytime we needed to be seen or speak to someone like my other vet had been doing. Even when I was just going to pick up medication Dr Leon took time out of his day to come talk to me, see how Apollo was doing and tell me what the plan was if this did or didn’t work. He was very accommodating and worked to try and find a solution to what was happening. Unfortunately it was cancer and there was nothing we could do further to help him, but every one was very kind to us during the process of putting him to rest. I have nothing but kind things to say about this place. They genuinely care about their patients and the people who come here. They listen and we weren’t excessively overcharged and told we needed unnecessary treatment and supplies like my previous vet had been doing.

Don't recommend using this vet. I took my service dog in to get him fix and was turned away for he was barking and growling. He was 1 doing his job to protect my boundaries for I have extrem bad panick attacks. 2. The lady behind the counter went over the paper work way 2 fast for me to understand and I asked her to slow down for my anxiety was going off which leads to panick attacks. Well she informed me that she also was dealing with family trouble. So my dog also picked up on that which made the room more intense that normal. You should not be working if your going to break down at work. Take some time off. Well when she went to get Onyx and came up 2 him way 2 fast. So he was just doing his job and barked and growled. Then another lady tried to get him but he was just doing his job. So they turned me away for they did not have a guy on staff to take him back. Well the could of did many different things for he not the first dog I have like this. They could of put a muzle on him or gave him some calming medication but did they offer. NO!!! FOR THE ONLY REASION IS I WAS NOT PAYING FOR THEIR SERVICES CAUSE IM LOW INCOME. WHICH SHOULD NOT MATTER FOR THEY DID NOT SO THE BEST THEY COULD! I DID NOT WALK OUT THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD NOT DO IT FOR 1 THEY DID NOT HAVE A GUY ON STAFF AND 2 THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO RESCHEDULE. THEY TURNED ME AWAY I WAS ALSO ON THE PHONE WITH SOMEONE WHO ALSO HEARD THE CONVERSATION.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. This is a very honest practice. They do not overcharge or ask for services not needed for your pet. Plan your visit in advance, they always stay busy.

The best and only vet I will take my dog to! Clean, very nice facility. Dr. Robbins and Dr. Ruble are so caring and personal with mine and my families dogs. On top of that all of the staff are friendly and helpful! Thank you Grandview Animal Hospital!!!

Not happy at all! Emily Ruble was supposed to contact us numerous times and never did. Our beloved dog has scary high liver functions. We need an appointment for an ultrasound. We couldn’t get her to call us back for a referral. So far twice we have been waiting by the phone because we were told she would contact us “after she got out of a clients room”. Didn’t happen and we are freaking out. This is our child.

Shame on me for going back to this place. Before I go further, the ladies that work for Robbins have always been extremely nice and professional. I feel sorry that they are working for him. I had an appointment for my dog about 3 years ago. Robbins was rude and condescending towards me then. After 3 years, I don't remember exactly what he said, but I remember leaving and thinking he was extremely rude for someone who has a public business that is supposed to care for animals and serve the local community. My dog was scared and he made it worse. Today we had another visit for another dog we rescued from the animal shelter in Winston. Today, the vet was just down-right mean. We think our dog was either abused in his former home or has gone through a traumatic experience. He has scars on his nose that will never heal. He is 6 years old and we got him when he was 5. I have been at this vet's office with this dog before, but didn't have to deal with Robbins and everything was fine. Our dog is a very sweet and calm dog. When he sees other dogs, he gets excited. Today, my daughter volunteered to take our dog for his preventive care. Robbins called our dog a loud mouth and treated my daughter very disrespectfully. He acted as if my daughter and dog were a burden and not worth his time. He doesn't have to worry about us taking his time anymore and he will not be getting our monthly money. He humiliated my daughter and talked down to her and her boyfriend who went with her. He made her put a muzzle on the dog instead of the trained professionals. The ladies at the desk were very uncomfortable and seemed as if they empathized with my daughter. I was astonished to see in the "notes from the business" that they say "At Grandview Animal Hospital, we are committed to providing you and your pet with exceptional veterinary care through a long-lasting relationship with our veterinarians and staff." That's definitely marketing for you. Thank goodness for real reviews. The staff is great, but Robbins has been rude and unprofessional in my experiences with him.

Awesome Animal Hospital!!! I had to take 3 cats this week to get spayed, when I got home with them today, I noticed they had their nails trimmed. Usually, at any other vet, that cost $15 extra, I'm pretty sure. They were super nice and every time I called to check on my little furbabies, the staff actually put me in hold to go check on them!!! Love, Love, Love this Vet!!! Thank you Grandview!
