About Veritas Collaborative Eating Disorder Treatment Center
Veritas Collaborative Eating Disorder Treatment Center is a specialty healthcare system dedicated to providing access to best-practice care for those seeking recovery from eating disorders. They offer various levels of care, from inpatient to outpatient services, across multiple states with both in-person and virtual treatment options. The multidisciplinary treatment teams aim to equip individuals, families, and communities with the skills necessary for lasting recovery. The admissions team is available to assist those in need Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM ET, Fridays 8:00 AM-7:30 PM ET, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM-6:00 PM. One parent shared that Veritas Collaborative saved their daughter's life, highlighting the kindness, care, and excellent communication of the staff. They encourage those in need to reach out to Veritas for help. A former patient, who stayed at the facility twice, also credits Veritas with saving their life. They emphasize the importance of putting in effort for long-lasting recovery and appreciate the majority of the staff, particularly Becca, Sarah, Adriana, Hajar, Kathleen, Ty, Laura, Haleh, Iman, Dave, Margo, Nikayla, Fayth, Misty, America, and Sage Torrez, the therapist. Although someTA's and culinary staff were not favorable, the firm approach of Veritas helped the patient set boundaries against their eating disorder. Another patient had a long, grueling, and inconsistent experience at Veritas but acknowledges the support provided by some TA's (Claire, Bex, Aubrey) and nurses (Ross, Anita, Angie). They particularly appreciated their therapist, Sage Torrez, for being amazing, supportive, and understanding. Despite not making significant progress, this patient still acknowledges the impact of their experience at Veritas.
This facility saved my daughters life. The staff is kind, caring, well educated and highly communicative. No one wants to need something like this, but if you do this is the place to get the help needed. I am deeply saddened to see some of these reviews as none of this was true for my daughter's stay(s). If you or a love done ned help PLEASE reach out to them
as far as treatment goes i personally wouldn't recommend veritas, it doesn't really help that much with recovery. it more so forces you to recover. i'm glad i left because it wasn't a safe environment. however, i will not lie and say my experience was the worst because i met quite a few patients who had it way worse than me. they didn't get good treatment teams. they would bribe them to complete. they wouldn't let them eat food they liked. for me, i made some really deep friendships there and my treatment team (hajar, kelli, jay) were phenomenal (i got lucky) and they truly did the best they could in the short time we got together. there's some really good ta's i liked...read full review
I went here twice and it saved my life. Keep in mind these reviews are written by people who went here against their will. You get what you give at veritas. If you put in the effort you will have long lasting recovery. Some of the ta's weren't my favorite but a majority of the staff were amazing. I have celiac disease and eat gluten free and my dietician was amazing with providing gluten free options but culinary..they poisoned me a couple of times. Shoutout to Becca, Sarah, Adriana, Hajar, Kathleen, Ty, Laura, Haleh, Iman, Dave, Margo, Nikayla, Fayth, Misty, America, and more for making this place better. Veritas has a very firm approach and they will call out your eating...read full review
