On 9/25 I picked up my new cpap. At that time a new mask was ordered. After waiting over a week I called to find out the disposition of the order. I was told it was in the system but had not been placed with the vendor. I was assured it would arrive in 3 days. When it had not arrived by the 4th day I called back and was told the mask I had wanted was discontinued and a different mask would need to be ordered. At that time an order was placed for a different mask. The order arrived today and the box contained nasal pillows and a glucose monitor but no mask. The packing slip was correct. UNC Homecare has been regularly billing insurance I have not used for almost a year, and that policy was discontinued during the summer, resulting in repeated delinquent invoices from the inactive insurance company. The person who finally and correctly helped me resolve this billing issue is Ray, and he's the reason I'm leaving 2 stars instead of 1. Thank you, Ray!! Thank you for not transferring me or hanging up on me while I was on hold like those before you. Ray and the respiratory therapists who delivered and maintained my original machine are awesome.
