Laura Koshel of LK Design is simply phenomenal! Basically we asked her to start from scratch in our new home’s open great room/dining room area, and from our first meeting, we knew we were in great hands. She combines her amazing gift for color and design with outstanding organizational skills, and the results are amazing! She began by asking for our thoughts and preferences and then hit the ground running. She was thorough and precise, quickly taking measurements to ensure all pieces were properly sized for the space, and then she helped us build the room piece by piece, always keeping our budget in mind. She researched and investigated, and then in every case, she gave us great choices as well as her input and guidance. Occasionally the choices would include one option that, in the past, would have been outside my comfort zone, and I’m so grateful that Laura helped me broaden my horizons! We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! Now we have asked Laura to help us with our master bedroom and study, and we can’t wait to see what magic she will work in these spaces. Without reservation, we highly recommend LK Design and Laura Koshel!

We decided to remove a wall between the kitchen and the living room and by the way to remodel our kitchen. Duh. That was more that we could handle. We wanted something that would look really nice, stylish and not too much, but we had no clue how to proceed. Someone recommended Laura and from the very first minutes we knew it was the right decision. She just knows how to do it. We were struggling around the island, since we have a small kitchen and we wanted to optimize the space, but no one could understand and propose us a non-standard shape island. Which Laura did easily and it is amazing. She listened to all our requests and designed it to our needs. Another thing that I am very thankful for Laura's help is the tile, that is going up to the ceiling about the sink and pleasing my eyes each time I look at it and I feel like I am in a kitchen from magazine and can't believe it is at my own house. So, if you are looking for clean, unique, outstanding solution for your space, Laura is your person.

Laura helped to realize our vision or our new house, which was a big shift from contemporary modern to a hybrid Craftsman/ mid century modern style. We even consulted her before we bought the house to decide what existing furniture would work and we wanted to replace. She is so much fun to work with and is very intuitive, getting you to what you want rather than what you ask for. She was a tremendous resource for picking out new furniture and selecting fabrics, and did a great job getting our blinds installed. Laura's fee is very fair and she didn't try to sell us on stuff we didn't need. Highly recommend LK Design!
