The owner of the house we purchased a couple of years ago, had abandoned the yard for years. We contacted a couple of companies for bids. Our requirements were that the plantings be deer and drought resistant since we aren't here in the summer and that we have a minimal amount of grass that wouldn't need watering. We liked Paul right away because he listened to what we had to say. At the same time he didn't do anything we asked for. Later on, I suggested a design element and he politely told me it wasn't a good design and he'd come up with an alternative. I liked that. One of our requirements was that he put in smaller plants or plants that spread to keep to our budget. and he did this.Our property is on a hill and we have a lot of serious drainage problems. Paul's design dealt with the problems and directed the run-off to the woods. His installer was also extremely knowledgable and had worked with Paul for many years. During the installation, he was friendly and went to great effort to find blue stone for the small patio that matched the stone in the 40 year-old path to the front door. The stonework for the small patio and a couple of retaining walls is fabulous. We watched and it was done with great care. We've hired Leisure Landscapes to do our ongoing yard maintenance. We couldn't be happier with the results. He accommodated the playground that my husband had built, and created a design that is welcoming and fits with the house. I'd recommend the company highly.

I interviewed 3 landscaping companies near me in Durham, NC and Paul's quote was the best of the bunch. His designs were much better than Bright Leaf Landscaping and his price was better than Agape Landscaping. He showed up on time and was the most seasoned and professional representative. My wife and I are very happy with the results. We are now having them handle our lawn care needs too. I highly recommend them.
