As a natural hair-styler who hasn't gotten her hair professionally straightened for 6+ years, I was nervous walking in to Janae's. I have my fair share of horror story, unsatisfactory hair appointments, and stylists who were too rough (or inexperienced) with my hair. Janae quickly blew me out of the water though. She was conversational, thoughtful, and sensitive in regards to my hair. She not only asked about styling, but also gave me tips in how to maintain my silk press post-appointment.
