Kristen is AMAZING. We did a transformational cut that I gave her pretty vague guidelines for and she still crushed it. She’s a wonderful person to talk to as well, and the salon was super clean and relaxing.
Heather is the first hair stylist I've had in many years who actually understands my hair (shoulder-length, wavy, very fine) and style (somewhat funky, want a different cut every time, sometimes want extreme color). And she's one of the best stylists I've ever had, if not the best. She does an amazing job with cut and color every single appointment. She's also a lovely, kind, and fun person. And she doesn't push products on me, which I really appreciate. She's also very affordable. I highly recommend her to anyone.
After moving to NC, I was trying to figure out how to find a great hairstylist. My searches led me here, to Fuss & Bother. It is situated in a cute house off of Ashe St. and even has a friendly resident cat! I had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Alison Nickles. She & I had talked about a good razor cut to my long mop of overgrown hair. She is very skilled at cutting hair with a razor. Historically, I usually go through a strange period of not liking how my hair looks for a couple of weeks after a haircut.
