I've been coming here for about 3 years. I managed to lose close to 50 pounds under Dr. Yancy and I've kept most of it off. I look forward to my regular visits to keep me accountable and learn about any new research and recommendations.
I've been seen here for over a year. The LWM Center offers strategies for weight loss and lifestyle changes that amount to exercise (always good) and the Keto diet (which research shows is not sustainable) plus offering prescription meds like Ozempic, Metformin, and Wegovy. The approach is boilerplate and predicated on initial (water) weight loss, with however, minimal tracking or accountability.The model fails over time and is structured like a scheme in which you invest in an illusory outcome.
