When i had to sell my mother’s home it had 40 years of deferred maintenance and mother had put carpet on all our hardwood floors. I called Accent Hardware Flooring as they are very honest, transparent and would give me the best advice at a time when I was overwhelmed. The owner, whom I’ve known for years suggested we only rip up all the carpet, clean the hardwood floors and leave it to the new owner as to whether they wanted to sand the floors explaining that we would leave enough wood surface so they would have that opportunity. Any other company might have pressured me to sand the floors.
