Lake Norman Breastfeeding Solutions offers lactation consults, postpartum doula services, and breastfeeding classes for the north Charlotte and Lake Norman region. They provide home visits and office appointments, and carry products from Spectra, Lansinoh, and Legendairy Milk. I am so so glad I found Carolyn! I was about to give up breastfeeding my then 3 week old due to extreme pain while nursing until I started working with Carolyn. With her help, we have made so much progress and I can now nurse pain free and he is so much quicker each feed! Carolyn is very comprehensive and knowledgeable. Along with giving so many nursing tips, she evaluated for and gave us referrals for a tongue tie release and body work. She has also helped me troubleshoot GI issues my little one was having! Carolyn and Athena have been the reason I’ve successfully breastfed all three of my children! The first baby was a simple fix to correct an incredibly painful latch and we went on to breastfeed for 14 months. For my second birth, they were able to help me take my preemie twins from latching just once a day to exclusively breastfeeding. Cannot recommend this team enough!
Carolyn and team are the most wonderful caring ladies out there! Very helpful, informative and encouraging! Carolyn helped with so many different aspect of Lactaction that I didn’t even know existed! She was able to help with my sons eczema , reflux, tummy time and over all pumping and nursing concerns! If your baby is struggling with body tightness ,tummy time or tension in the neck I strongly suggest Surinia! After one session of super gentle body work stretches my sons tension in his neck went from a half an inch gap to almost 2inchs! His shoulders were so tight and she helped him relax and release his neck tension! Allowing his more neck and head mobility! I can not stress enough how helpful these ladies were for us! Highly recommend!
