I’ve been going here for years for my dog Buster. He’s 15 now and we have moved further away from this veterinary hospital but still prefer to go here for his care. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Dutterer really cares about the pets and their families. It is owned by Dr. Rubow now and she cared for my dog today. She is a good listener and I believe the care will just be as good as it was before.
Dr. Dutterer is a fantastic vet. He answers any questions you have, cares for the animals, and cares for the owners. A year ago we had to put down my corgi, Bandit. He hand wrote me a card about how he loved the breeds of corgis and knew how much I loved mine. It’s not everyday a vet sends you a card in the mail with a note like that when your dog passes. I’ve been bringing my other dogs to him for a while now and he and his staff have always been great. They’re knowledgeable and clearly love what they do! Highly recommended ?
The Applewood staff were very helpful. I had called my personal vet, as well as several local clinics to see if I could get someone to see a small dog that appeared at my farm. No one could work me in as quickly as I wanted. I had been by Applewood Hospital recently and decided to call them. The receptionist was most helpful, and knowledgeable, and was able to get an appt the very next day. The small dog was in heat, and I wanted to go ahead and have her spayed even if she didn't stay with me. They booked an appt for when she would be going out of heat.
