Im only giving one because I can't give zero. Sotheby's and Michelle Ivester Rhyne are a zero. Sotheby's Michelle Ivester Rhyne is unbelievably unprofessional. I would NEVER use this person to sell a home. My divorce sale has been a disaster of epic proportions, and central to that disaster is Michelle Rhyne. First the lies. I ask Michelle's assistance with the neighbor who has a construction dumpster eyesore in his yard. She says he is building a pool and needs it. I pull permits and he is NOT building a pool. The dumpster is now gone after I called them myself. One lie after another.Then the bias. So 100 days into this listing and we have never met face-to- face. Impossible, right? My house was listed at $3.1M with another agent at Sotheby's Lake Norman. That agent tells us days after she takes our listing that she is going to be in Italy for the first crucial two weeks of the listing. Enter Michelle. I didn't hire her - she is a sub. 25 days into the listing Michelle arbitrarily reduces the price of the home AGAINST MY WILL but with consent of my ex. She told me she had discussed the price with competing agents and several of them reduced their pricing all at once. I call that price fixing? I'm not calling the other ones out because they dont hold my listing - but SHAME on you Michelle.Today I found out she had BLOCKED MY PHONE. So we have never met and I cannot imagine wanting to now. I am mystified at the unprofessionality.After 100 days, I have lost all confidence that my home will sell under Michelle, so I decided to schedule and conduct my own open houses because she refuses to do anything but private showings. Given that stance, she has harmed me and the public by being anti-competitive. So my contract says open houses, lockbox, etc. No. No lockbox, no brochure box, and in fact she accompanies all showings. It takes hours just to get in her schedule, so I asked that she put out a lockbox so that competing realtors can get it without all her white glove nonsense. She has refused.Realtors are trusted people. Don't trust this one.In the end she caused a brutal confrontation between me and my ex. I have asked the court to remove these people because they are flatly incompetent.
