Unfortunately “O” came recommended from a friend so when I had to put down half the cost of my nose piercing, non refundable, just to book the appointment, I did so willingly. Even though I felt like it was over priced, I am a person that usually believes “you get what you pay for” and I don’t mind paying on the higher end of the scale for good, quality work. I like to know what is going on and had questions. I have had basic ear piercings but this was my first in any other place. Every single question I had, I felt like O was looking down his nose at me; annoyed, exasperated and couldn’t really be bothered. I began to question whether the price tag of almost double a few other places I had looked into was worth it. I was uncomfortable with some of the legal verbiage on his waiver but he would refuse to do the piercing if you didn’t check each box. Again, I don’t have extra money lying around, and didn’t want to waste the money I had already put down to book. I wanted to discuss some pros and cons of different placements on my nose and when I tell you he talked down to me in every way… it was ridiculous. I am 37 years old, have 3 tattoos and several ear piercings.. I am not stupid or ignorant and I felt like he was all but patting my had like a child who couldn’t know any better… like dude, I just wanted to hash it out for a second. He did not show me what the nose stud looked like before hand or try to be accommodating at all. I felt like pulled my nose up with more force than necessary at a weird angle and then said in almost a mocking voice “there’s no judgement here if you cry” which I didn’t… I couldn’t finish paying the balance and leave fast enough. I was so irritated at this point. I would never recommend this place to any one for a piercing or over priced tattoos. Clearly he only wants a “certain” clientele and I did not fit his mold. Regardless, I don’t think he needed to be as rude as he was, and it was not a pleasant experience in the least.
