“Christina did an amazing job on my curls. If the stars went beyond 5, it still wouldn’t be enough. Christina showed me how to love my curls. I went into her salon nervous; I didn’t know how to care for my curls or style them. I grew up hiding, avoiding, and feeling frizz-barrassed all the time. She didn’t judge me. She welcomed me. She talked to me about her own family history and it is evident that her passion is genetic, in addition to her personal curl journey, caring for her daughter’s beautiful curls, and dedicated training in this speciality. When I left, I was smiling. She took pictures and made me feel pretty. I walked in nervous with my hair up in a claw clip, 3+ years of no cut, and zero experience on curl care. I walked out with my hair down, curls bouncing, and an individualized routine patiently taught by her. I entered meeting a curly hair stylist and left saying goodbye to a friend with a promising “I’ll see you soon.” Christina is definitely my Fairy Curl-Mother and I’ll definitely be in her chair again.”
