About High Country Community Health
High Country Community Health is a caring and professional medical practice that prioritizes the well-being of its patients. Many reviews highlight the dedication of the staff, with Dr. Brown and Dr. Meek receiving particular praise for their exceptional medical care and personal attention. Patients appreciate how Dr. Meek takes the time to understand their concerns and educate them on their health issues. The front office staff is described as supportive, compassionate, and committed to helping families. However, there are some concerns regarding customer service, especially at the call center. Some patients noted difficulties in getting timely responses for important appointments, leading to frustration when they felt ignored. In addition to general healthcare, the practice offers mental health services, with Katie Langley being recognized for her empathetic and patient-centered approach. Patients report significant improvements in their mental health due to her care. The attached pharmacy also receives high marks for its friendly staff and efficient service, making it a trusted choice for medication needs. Overall, High Country Community Health is viewed as a valuable resource for both physical and mental health needs.
My son started going here when left pediatric care. They were so very kind and helpful to him and made him feel comfortable because he was nervous seeing doctor and doing things on his own now without mom 😢( They just grow up way too fast) Anyways , Dr.Meek is awesome and very attentive to his care and issues and refers him right away to specialists if needed . Also, This review is for the Morganton office ……
I have been going here for the last 5 years and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. The staff is always so helpful and friendly. Rachel Goosens is fantastic! She actually takes the time to listen and explain things so you can understand. I can't say enough good things about high country community health.
Customer service skills seem to be lacking at the call center and at the office itself you leave a message to be contacted back with someone about an important appointment that you have with the doctor and nobody calls you back and then you get bombarded when you don’t show up with multiple messages on your text and phone and then when you call to complain they cop an attitude. Again lacking in customer service skills.
