“Dr. Patel is very thorough with diagnosis and explains things well. He took x-rays of my neck area and upper back and took the time to show me first hand the results of the x-rays. His bed side manner is top notch. His professional demeanor is excellent. I like his style of gentle manipulation which makes the adjustments actually very satisfying. I had carpel tunnel surgery 6 months ago, and my right wrist always felt out of place and sporadically painful which caused me to ask the surgeon office for prednisone every other month for inflammation.
Dr. Patel gently adjusted my right wrist and now the wrist bones are aligned and the post carpal tunnel awkwardness and inflammation is gone! Amazing! My neck is no longer grinding and stiff. Again, amazing! In between my shoulder blades is no longer tight and sore! Again, amazing!
In just two weeks this chiropractor has gotten me feeling amazingly better!

“I have been a patient of Dr. Will at American Family Spine in Concord for about a year after experiencing significant neck and arm pain. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Will himself. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly cares about helping his patients feel better. Thanks to his treatment, I experienced real improvement and was very happy with my results over the past year. His nurse, Monika, has also always been wonderful—kind, helpful, and efficient whenever I’ve called or come into the office.

Recently my husband injured his back, and because of the great care I received, I immediately knew we should go see Dr. Will. Monika helped get him scheduled quickly and was very accommodating, which we really appreciated since my husband has a very busy schedule.

Unfortunately, our experience with the office manager/secretary, Dea, was extremely disappointing. When I first started treatment, she had me sit in the office work area for nearly an hour to watch a video that, frankly, felt like a complete waste of time. When scheduling my husband’s appointment, I explained that he wouldn’t have time to sit through that video and simply wanted to speak directly with Dr. Will.

At our follow-up visit, Dea approached us and insisted that my husband sit and watch the video. My husband was in pain and couldn’t sit comfortably, but she continued to push the issue and was rude and unprofessional during the interaction. She also began speaking as if she were giving medical guidance, which was uncomfortable since she is not a medical professional. It felt inappropriate and unnecessary.

Dr. Will and the clinical staff are excellent, and the care provided is truly top-notch. However, interactions with Dea significantly detracted from the experience. If the video is truly necessary, it would make much more sense to simply place it on the website so patients can watch it ahead of time rather than requiring them to sit in the office. (Reading Yelp reviews it is clear she may be the main reason for the office not having all 5 stars)

Dr. Will’s practice provides great care, and the medical team is fantastic. That said, the overall patient experience would be much better if Dea did not interact with patients, she is extremely rude and unprofessional and she makes you feel hesitant about going back.“
