At the Wheel Driving Academy provides a thorough and effective driving education. Instructors are described as amazing, patient, encouraging, stern but effective, fun, and engaging, with a lot of experience. They are very thorough during the driving portion and make students feel very confident. Teachers are energetic with a great sense of humor and work to keep students comfortable and self-aware, not letting them quit. The class itself is fun with nice people. Some aspects include a driving simulator game, appreciated by hands-on learners, and the practical driving sessions. Students are advised to be patient, as instructors can have bad nerves or run a little late, but the overall result is a great experience that leads to lasting safe driving skills.
THE BEST driving academy around!! I took lessons here way back when and I intend on enrolling my two sons here as well. For the people complaining about interstate driving LOL ARE YALL SERIOUS???? ALL new drivers need to drive in rush hour. He did the same with me! There would be a lot less wrecks if everyone used this man right here!!!! Why on earth would you not want your kids driving on the interstate??? I remember driving on 277 and 77 with him - for a while and it made me an awesome defensive driver! Come on yall get some courage! Hands down the best!!! 100 stars!
Had the most amazing teacher!! The class was fun, the teacher definitely made me feel very confident and was very thorough during the driving portion. It's been almost 20 years since I took the class and I haven't gotten into a wreck once.
I only completed the driving portion for six hours. You just have to be patient with Mr Reid. He’s an older man so yes he might be a little late to your sessions. He’s really stern but effective. He goes by an older way of driving so if you learned a different way in your drivers ed class let him know that , he wants you to be comfortable. He’s really a sweet man, just got really bad nerves. You might think he’s being mean but trust me he’s not. Again just be patient with him.
