About Envision Behavioral Health PLLC

Envision Behavioral Health PLLC is a mental health practice known for its knowledgeable and caring providers. Patients appreciate the clinicians’ ability to listen well and treat them with respect and kindness. One provider, in particular, is recognized for being extremely kind and a good listener, making patients feel heard and validated. This provider also treats patients like adults and respects their background and research, which fosters a collaborative atmosphere. Patients with chronic illnesses find this approach especially reassuring, as they feel comfortable trialing medications and communicating their needs. However, not all experiences at the practice are positive. One patient shared that their recent visit for an autism and ADHD diagnosis was dismissive and misdiagnosed. They felt their lived experience was not properly acknowledged, especially regarding autism in adult women, which can be harder to detect due to masking and research biases. The patient experienced frustration when their questions and concerns were dismissed or met with defensiveness, and they felt the diagnostic process lacked proper sensitivity. Despite this, the patient acknowledged that they learned some valuable information, including a PTSD diagnosis, which has helped their healing process. Overall, the practice is highly regarded by many for its professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care. Patients who have worked with these providers often describe them as the best they have encountered, emphasizing their judicious use of medications, integrated counseling, and compassionate approach. While individual experiences may vary, Envision Behavioral Health PLLC is widely recommended for those seeking mental health support from attentive and dedicated professionals.

He has never dismissed or scoffed at any research I’ve brought in. Dr. Derreberry is extremely collaborative, allowing me to trial medications...read full review
