About Raleigh Ophthalmology
Raleigh Ophthalmology has mixed reviews. Some patients have experienced frustration, such as arriving for a scheduled appointment at the Clayton office to find it closed, with poor phone communication and unprofessional handling of the situation. However, other patients praise the staff for their attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism. They appreciate the clear explanations of tests and procedures, and the time taken to answer questions. Specifically, Dr. Riske is commended for his thoroughness, and Dr. Chong is recognized for recommending an additional procedure to effectively lower eye pressure for a patient with glaucoma. The office is described as very nice, with staff and doctors being professional and nice. Although there can be delays, everyone is very apologetic. Patients note that the examination is very thorough, with explanations of procedures, surgical options, and what to expect before and after surgery. Overall, there are varying experiences, but many find the staff and doctors to be friendly, helpful, and very thorough.
Wonderful staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful. Dr. Hoffman was clear and comforting in supporting my vision. I am excited to move forward with my work up. Had to wait in front waiting room for 40 min to be called but left very satisfied with my care!
Everyone was great from the front desk check-in to each step it took to to get to see the doctor. Then the surgery scheduler was very informative and efficient. My overall experience was Pleasant. It’s amazing how the check-in registration can set the tone for the whole visit and it totally did.
The new Clayton office is excellent and the staff is efficient and professional.
Patients must be prepared to wait several minutes past their appointment time before being seen.
