These folks not only do a good job, they are so HONEST!! I went in today to get some pumps reheeled. I was told that they didn't need to be reheeled yet and saved $20. I highly recommend Wyatt and Dad Cobbler Company!

What a great place! My daughter went to get her shoe strap punched and they didn’t charge her. And they have done the same for me on another occasion. They have also repaired one of my heels awhile back. There aren’t too many places left like Wyatt’s- great service and great work. We could use more places like Wyatt’s!

I just visited this store and had one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had!
I needed to have my designer belt shortened and wasn’t comfortable attempting it myself, so I found this place—and I’m so glad I did. Lance and Stephanie were incredibly kind, patient, and professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns and made me feel completely at ease.
Lance, in particular, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He immediately knew exactly how much the belt needed to be shortened and completed the job perfectly—in literally about a minute! What impressed me even more was that he didn’t charge me, despite my insistence. That level of service is truly rare.
If you need any shoe, belt, or purse repair, don’t go anywhere else—this is the place. I will definitely be coming back for any future repairs.
Highly recommend—if I could give 100 stars, I absolutely would!

They built my heel up 9 /16th of a inch and done ine hell of a job. My back killed me and I needed this done. No one knew how to do it in Gastonia these people did and not only knew how but Aced it . Thank u for helping a old man out !!

I came in here 2 years ago to drop off my Christian Louboutin bag to be repaired. I then became so busy and then pregnant that I did not end up picking up the bag till this week. Not only did they care for the bag, they were able to repair it to a better quality than the original. Thank you!

I wanted to support a local cobbler and had high hopes based on my initial experience. The owner has a big personality and talked through options at length, confidently describing what he could do. However, when I returned about a week later to pick up my shoes, more than half of the services we discussed and he said would be completed were not done.
When I calmly pointed this out, he acknowledged it—but the tone shifted quickly into dismissive comments like, “Good thing I didn’t charge for it,” and “You can bring them back, if you want. Sorry, we’ve been very busy around here.” That response felt like gaslighting and deflection.
What made this worse is that I was never provided an itemized receipt, so I had no clear way to verify what I was supposedly charged for vs. what wasn’t done. Saying “I didn’t charge you” without documentation is not acceptable and feels unethical.
Ultimately, the issue wasn’t just the incomplete work—it was the lack of professionalism, accountability, and trustworthiness in how it was handled. This was a classic case of overpromising and underdelivering, and I won’t be returning.
