I went in to get my glasses tightened. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a short wait due to customers ahead of me, but I didn't mind. The staff acknowledged me soon as I arrived to let me know they would be with me shortly even though I didn't have an appt.

I would sincerely like to thank Phyllis and Estela for helping me pick out my glasses today and get my insurance issue handled. These ladies are very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. You ladies are amazing. I will always go here for my optical needs.

These people giving poor reviews have got to be referring to another place. I have been going to Vision Center on N. Tryon (formerly at JW Clay) for over 20 years. For a long time, the optometrist's office next to the VC had been like a revolving door. I often got my exams elsewhere.. However. Dr. LeBlanc has been there quite a few years and he always gets the prescriptions right. LeBlanc's full price for an exam (if you don't have insurance) is at the lower price range.The Vision Center can get quite busy, but after waiting my turn, I have always been treated well, and was never rushed.
