Robert's knowledge and methods have worked wonders on my technique over the last year. I can't say enough good things about his instruction, though what really sets him apart from the others -- he cares about his students. I've become fast friends with Robert during our time together. When he asks how you are doing you can see his thoughtful kindness shine through in his expressions and response. He's empathetic, shows compassion, and generally meets you where you are at as he instructs. It's in his nature to be a teacher and he cares as much for his students as he does for his subject.

I decided that at 61 years old, that perhaps I would enjoy singing. I selected Voice Instruction Charlotte, and could not be more pleased. Robert has incredible knowledge of singing, pitch, tone and music theory, and breaks it down into smaller bites for beginners like myself. I have learned so much in a short amount of time, and highly recommend Robert to others that may be starting out, or experienced singers that would like to improve their skills and craft. Also, you can expect some great conversations, good humor and a friendship that will exist long after the lessons are over.

Wonderful instruction. He really works well with students including high school age who are dealing with changing voices. Would highly recommend if looking for an instructor who really understands the mechanics of using your voice as an instrument.
