My husband received services here, haircut and waxing. He had pandemic hair and was in need of a makeover. It's wife and mom approved. His cut was the best haircut I have ever seen on him. He even had the nerve to get his ears and nose waxed. For his bravery, he got a smoked old fashion. He had such a great experience that we both went back the next day to get a cocktail. Yes, you can just hang out at the bar even if you are not getting services. Kerry and bartenders are super friendly. The bar is very comfortable and clean. Parking can be a challenge uptown, I recommend walking or ride share (more fun with adult beverages). Hopefully, they can work something out... read full review

I had an amazing haircut at Scissors & Scotch, and I have to give a huge shout‑out to Nicole. She did a phenomenal job — the fade was clean, the length on top was perfect, and every detail was spot‑on. It’s honestly one of the best haircuts I’ve had in years.
The shop itself is clean, modern, and extremely well‑run. Nicole went above and beyond with a relaxing shampoo and a hot towel treatment that made the whole experience feel premium. I even received a complimentary drink, which was a great touch and made me feel welcomed and taken care of.

Had a great first time experience at S & S. The personal decision to find a good barber shop takes research. After reading reviews and the great location, selected S & S and stylist Nicole. Nicole asked great questions during the consultation period and then dove right in. Great conversation mixed with a quality atmosphere that did not disappoint. Nicole gave me a haircut that helped transform my corporate look to a more modern twist. Appreciate you, Nicole and your level of detail. Thankful to have found a good barber shop.
