Before moving to North Carolina I was with my previous stylist/friend for 20-plus years. I went to the salon on a weekly cadence resulting in healthy and voluminous hair. When moving to NC (during a pandemic)I had trouble finding a hairstylist who could care for my hair. Let’s just say, I experienced some challenges and ended up at a salon where’s my hair overprocessed by the relaxer being pulled throughout to my ends. By the time I noticed it was too late. Needless to say, over a short time my hair fell out. This experience was traumatic for me considering being with my stylist/friend for 20-plus years who took great care of my hair. My friend/stylist called Dudley’s colleague (Shirron), of Salon Stillettos to see if she would accept me as a new client and she did. Before finding a stylist I fought through the tears and struggled with high functioning anxiety and depression with such a traumatic ordeal coupled with a new job and new city. I say all this to say as women our hair is our crown, literally. It has nothing to do with being vain but is a symbol of our identity, style, confidence in feeling good, and womanhood. This is my hair journey embracing all of the stages my hair has gone through. While I know that we are more than our hair and our outward appearance doesn’t define who we are losing your hair is emotionally traumatic. Thank you Shirron for nursing my hair back to health. Your knowledge and hair care expertise helped me to find my confidence again.

My daughter and I went in for a consultation yesterday and it was a very welcoming atmosphere .Shiron was very thorough and gentle. Also very detailed on the treatment process that we would receive. I have been looking for someone consistent for some time now and her education on hair is beyond expectations.I would definitely recommend her.

I've known Shiron for over 10 yrs. I was one of her students before a client. I would always attend all of her classes bc she is a great teacher and you learn new and innovative techniques with her in this business. Things are always changing in this business, so if you don't keep up with the trends you can miss out. Before I started coming to her, I was bw stylists bc my hairstylist had retired and I had to find somebody to do my hair and keep it healthy. I suffer from a scalp condition called seborrheic dermititis which is red itchy patchy scales on the scalp. Which is caused by oily skin, weather changes and sometimes hereditary. Most times with this condition when you get relaxers it can really irritate your skin and cause sever irritation on the scalp when a chemical is applied. So usually after a chemical is applied, it can't sit long on my scalp bc my scalp is severely irritated and feeling like I'm in flames literally!!! So many stylists seem to either under process or over process my hair and not do the required treatments to help alleviate irritation. I was going thru many obstacles until I texted Shiron and told her that I needed her to be involved in getting my hair back healthy and my scalp under control. She did a hair consultation to see what exactly was going on with my hair and scalp to figure out what needed to be done to get my hair at the length and texture it used to be. Over the course of 6 months, she put me on a scalp/ conditioning regimen to control the dandruff and scalp irritation before the chemical process. It's a deep penetrating cleanse to scalp with heavy steam, which helps to break up the scaliness of the scalp and put moisture back into scalp and penetrate the cuticle. it helps tremendously, so when it's time for my relaxer my scalp is not irritated. And thus far when I get my relaxers done, my scalp has not been irritated. She's a phenomenal cut/color artist so I'm very comfortable with her coloring my hair and cutting it as well. I've been getting my hair done by her for almost 2 yrs now and it has done a serious transformation. It was very week and limp bc it was severely damaged and overprocessed but once she got involved I was back to normal with thick healthy fuller hair. So I'm grateful for her taking me on as a new client and taking care of my hair. Thanks for all you do!!! Great stylist and very clean. Even before the pandemic she sanitized everything including combs, chairs and shampoo bowls
